We’re now looking for a highly experienced Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to lead architecture across complex digital transformation and software development programmes.

The Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role from early discovery and pre-sales through to delivery and optimisation, helping organisations solve complex technology challenges.

You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to identify real business problems, design pragmatic architecture solutions, and guide delivery using modern engineering practices.

This role requires someone who can combine deep technical expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

Discovery & Solution Design

• Lead discovery workshops to uncover client goals, pain points, and constraints

• Analyse existing systems and architectures to identify opportunities for improvement

• Design multiple solution options, clearly articulating trade-offs, risks, and benefits

• Guide clients toward outcome-driven solutions, not just technology choices

Consultative Pre-Sales

• Lead technical discovery for digital and software transformation initiatives

• Support RFP/RFI and tender responses with architectural designs and delivery approaches

• Partner with sales teams to present solutions to senior stakeholders

Architecture Leadership

• Own solution architecture across modern digital platforms, including:

  • Custom application development

  • API-first and integration-led architectures

  • Data and analytics platforms

  • Cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Produce architectural artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, and roadmaps

• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and resilience are embedded in designs

Agile & DevOps Alignment

• Work closely with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments

• Enable CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and modern deployment patterns

• Provide architectural governance that balances speed with quality

Client Engagement

• Provide architectural leadership during delivery

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients

• Support optimisation, scaling, and roadmap development post-delivery

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect delivering digital and software development programmes

• Strong experience leading technical discovery workshops

• Ability to design multiple architecture options and communicate trade-offs

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern SDLC practices

• Hands-on knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with microservices, containerisation, and modern cloud architectures

• Strong client-facing communication skills

Desirable

• Consultancy or professional services experience

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary Agile teams (engineering, UX, QA, product)

• Relevant Cloud / Architecture / DevOps certifications

• Exposure to AI or FinTech environments
